Yes, the plants wick the water up from the bottom in this system. The soil is moist but not wet up to about 1-2” below the surface. So far it’s lived up to its name because I’ve hardly messed with this plant, check the reservoir every few days and maybe a little training here and there. Other than that it’s been cruise control so far

What type of soil medium are you using? You feed it with hydro nutes?

I’m using the Mother Earth premixed coco perlite that comes 70/30. No pebbles or anything else and no airdomes. Only thing electric is I have a water pump in the reservoir that comes on 15min every 6hrs to mix nutes up. Went with the GH Flora trio and Nebula’s feeding schedule. Only issue so far is I started off with the pump running 15min every 4hrs and the ph drifted daily. Since setting to every 6hrs it’s pretty stable at 6.0

Yep! That’s what’s inside that little box at the base of the plant. I believe it allows 1.5” to flood in, completely drain out then it refills so it’s basically a flood and drain system. This girls drinking close to 2 gallons a day, no way I’d water her that much by hand

Flatlander Are you a fellow Illinoisan? When I first bought hash at the dispo in 2016 it was $40/gram. I was disappointed with it.

OJH - I would only trade or barter. If I could find someone to help me with a few things around here I'd give them a plant and a light.

Thanks all and no I have no intention of selling anything ,its real hard to trade for something if you don't know what its worth, Like I said the last time I bought hash was in Naples and it was about 14 dollars for a mil stick about a finger length , I think its pretty interesting how much weed has changed in price since the 70s and hash is still pretty close to what it was , Floopydoop funny how the jars never seem to come home . my niece brings half dozen small fancy jars when she is in need smart girl lol

weekly update the bud pic was leaning out the fence so I had to hold it up lol and then theres the rest . I have been helping an old Marine buddy hes 84 reside his house with t11 and was not able to get in the green house for 3 days just 3 days and my glue cookies had bud rot all over it so I took it down yesterday out of a plant that had the potential for up to 2000 grams I managed to save 4 ounces of bud and went though the rest of the girls ,usually when I see bud rot I cut below it and then harvest the bud above and below but damn did it travel fast and its under the green house roof .Lessen here if you see bud rot deal with it no matter what you are doing and check your plants daily .I still think its going to be a good year lol
