SoOrbudgal I have so many bags here. They sent ten 10-gal, I ordered ten 1-gal for my herbs. I have 3 gallons from the dwarf grow. Now some 2-gal also. I'm putting this in a 5-gallon square bag (that will probably not stay square), using Coast of Maine Stonington Blend. If the weather would take a break I need to inventory my shed for saucers. Probably direct sow another WT bean directly into another pot, see how they compare. And a fast fem, I need more than savita inventory since summer was a bust, pretty much. People here can smell the West Coast smoke. What a year! I was awoken to an EMS weather alert this morning - wind/rain/heat alerts today.

Weather is nasty 103f today very smoky skies today. First time we've had low smoke to ground level this summer. All the wind is still today it's gonna be sickly hot. Windows closed up early morning smell of wood smoke is heavy. 2nd year in a row now with these wild fires being close. I hope now we can learn from stupid not let these fires try and burn themselves out at least contain/control when smaller. We've lost millions of acres across the West which is so very sad when we have the equiptment to prevent larger spreads early. Mask mandates seem top priorty in Oregon.

Well both the dogs an I are just getting restless with smoke now hanging low to the ground. Heat we'd do things early morning and after sundown but the smoke ends all walking and dirt work. Yes we stop buy noon if not before. :sad-frown:

MeEasy Hehe. I cut off the two top Chewy branches and the next node on Lemon today. Weights when they go into jars. Dry trimming will be a breeze. Now to get the darn WT potted. The bags of Coast of Maine are too heavy for me, trying to figure out how to mix that w/perlite to fill a bag, in my kitchen. I have the soil bags on my kitchen chairs with wheels. Planned to roll them out onto the deck to work but the dang weather, more alerts, looks like rain again and so humid it feels like you could cut the air. I left my infusion early because I was sick with pancreatitis symptoms, nurse couldn't even get a hold of my doctor's office. I was going to hit the ER but a guy walked in the hospital vestibule, talking, sweating, no mask, describing his symptoms which included crackling, popping lungs. I had to walk through that same vestibule to leave the place and there was no breeze outside to blow his cooties off of me. Nurse gave him a paper mask, he didn't cover his nose or part of his mouth. I had the J&J vaccine, not the best one for right now. New strain: Wild COVID Thai? Laugh or cry.
