Volunteer but at least some color. Do they attract bees? I didn't grow anything outside this summer, it was too hot w/o the pergola's shade to do much. It has been 51 weeks since last year's storm, I'm still waiting for repairs including the lattice, why bother pulling or chopping weeds?
Are there any concrete workers on here? My basement got messed up after the storm. Insurance won't pay for a structural engineer until the city can verify that the storm sewer system wasn't at fault. (I'd bet the ranch it was the water not the wind) There are cracks in sewer lines where they meet a manhole in my backyard, from two directions. The city wants to put fiberglass or something liners inside the lines because it's so close to my house to dig. I want a basement engineer verification or a promise to remedy the basement floor before they do anything. I don't want to need a lawyer. After it rained last month water sat on the street by the catch basin, rippled like a river, pings were coming out of the water like fish. Water is heavy, pressured water leaking underground near the foundation would be my best guess for a spider-web cracked floor, backed up floor drain and a hump in the middle of the floor, overnight. How does one prove this?
