Time to show your grow.

Ya dropinbiking trimming is always a pain in the a$$ and back..lol So far mixing Autos and photos together in my first two grows has worked out ok..but it gets a little hectic towards the end of flowering(different feeding, flushing, trimming, etc) My next grow i was planning on all autos but i have 5 AK clones that i cant seem to throw out.:frustrated: So i might have 10-11 plants for grow#3. not sure how im gonna work that out...

I love the 1st pic and your labeling of the jars well done ,this is off topic but what do you use the dremel hanging to the left on ,I have several of those types for Lapidary work so it peaked my interest lol

dont you hate that I will start 3 seeds and use the two best the problem is I can never toss the runt lol, what I have done in the past is to let the best plant grow out and retake clones about 3 weeks before end of auto grow , I have tried to squeeze them in and it just causes problems,

Very, very nice. You got it going on, bruh. Have you considered setting up a separate veg area to try perpetual grow? You could cycle through harvest every 6 weeks if had 3 section.

I'm guessing you'd rather lump everything closer together and try to get all the harvest and trimming done somewhat together? I figure you would want to space it out more and cut back on the work, but I guess that just means more time spent in and out of the grow room chopping plants.

Dingus... I am new to the game and have been spending many many hours researching plants and light spectrums. I was always leery of the “old school” mentalities of “do this for veg and that for flower” knowing that a lot of it was old hippie anecdotal information based on the knowledge and growing tools available many years ago. Much of it does hold true, like light changes and spectral changes, but newer Research is coming out that can be useful to us gardeners. I’m sure my technique of top-down defoliation, versus bottom-up defoliation would have some old growers in fits of hysteria saying “don’t do that”.

Plus, maybe I’m just getting lucky with good plant genetics 😉

I was glad my plants all finished at slightly different times. My NLx was so full of small leaves it took forever to trim.
Now I know how intensive a larger harvest can be.

Hang in there, the struggle is real. We're back into reasonable -15 overnight lows. Not sure where you are at but winter can't last forever hahaha

Only -42 here this morning. That is frickin cold no matter what scale you use.
Back up to wearing shorts in 4 days with balmy -18 C forecast.

Thanks oldjarhead100. I used to use the Foredom dremmel for decoy and bird carving...but a car wreck about 15 yrs ago put an end to that. Tried a few times to get back into it but my neck, back and hands will have non of it. Razor sharp knives and power tools are a tad dangerous when you cant feel your hands lol

Hey DingusKhan iv been kicking around something bigger and easier to work in and around, but this old house has low basement ceilings so tents are few and far between. im considering dedicating a 10 x 10 room for a grow area..but thats a whole other pile of work. The gears in my head are spinning...we'll see how motivated i get lol

What is the methodology for a staged harvest? Cut off large buds? Cut off a whole branch?

Im interested in this as I have a couple of plants that seem to be taking a long time to show amber.

Hey@dropinbiking i suppose if i just picked photos OR autos for a grow the harvest might be a little less busy, but i like to have a variety of weed to smoke lol. I'll take the good with the bad.. I have Amnesia, White Widow, Blueberry, Purple Kush and AK left from first grow and soon i'll have Northern Lights and Cheese added to my supply.!
