So this is my first time growing in coco. That said I was really excited when I saw the "elbow" (for lack of a better word) starting to come up through the top of the coco yesterday because I knew I'd have a sprout today. So I just got home from work and checked on her to find she only has one leaf and no real sign of anything else. I think I see a possible slight growth in the middle but I can't be too sure. If it is and it grows, great!

Anyway, I'm probably going to contact Seedsman about it regardless and see what they say. Should I leave it and see, or cut my losses and plant another? I can also leave it and still plant another. I think I already have an idea of what I want to do, but I'm curious to hear some other opinions. What would you guys do? Have any of you seen this one before?

Probably just an anomaly. Too soon to give up on her. You'll know in a day or 2 when she should be starting true leaves (serrated edges)

Give it time. some strains actually look odd when they first start out. It's simply way too early to tell.

Looks like it lost a cotyledon popping up through the coco.
Just keep up your normal regimen and see if it develops a true leaf set.
If that happens, continue.
If it doesn't, contact Seedsman and see what they'll do.

Just an update. I'm not sure if you can see it but it looks like it's got some growth trying to come out. Pretty sure it's bigger than yesterday too. Going to keep her for a few more days and see what she does. I should also have her "replacement" (just going to grow them both) sprouting in the next day or 2.

Yeah she should be an interesting one. Almost as interesting as the mutant I had with one set of nodes and then just a single leaf above that and no other growth. gbauto I'm pretty sure that's what I'm seeing, it's getting big enough it's almost out of that hole at the base of the leaf.

Just an update on this weird one. She seems to be starting to take off a little more now that she's got some leaves. Not as big as the other ones yet, not even the one I planted to replace it. It will get there though, eventually.

Be patient , watch and learn...............I had a auto ,4 wks old., the light knot untied and crushed it(lite}. Lights on a timer so i don't check them every night . Found it the next day crushed flat and burned..PISSED(my fault).. Put it aside in the grow tent and replanted.. Week later little shoots growing out of every leaf joint and broken branches, Ended getting 10 grams from a smash, short, given up for dead plant...............You never Know.....Peace
