I do it often, as I usually use auto flowers to fill the tent- regardless of the light schedule.
Currently I am running a perpetual auto grow at 20/4- just autos for the springtime.

Weed Pharma..do you notice much difference between auto grows at 20/4 vs 18/6? Yield/Quality?

Not really, but that may be because my veg tent LED running 18/6 or 20/4 had a lower wattage than the flower tent running 12/12.
My calculation was the 12/12 ended up 10% less TOTAL light than the 18/6 or 20/4.

The current grow is in the flower tent @ 20/4 with higher wattage- so we shall see.

Don't do it...unless your just filling space in a photo tent..

More light more growth..more root base..healthier stronger plant

Thoughts on 12/12 for autos - whoops that thought just went out the door. I have it, and it was - "No, not in this tent"
