Thoughts, intentions, advice ... please?

I need to deal with pots and bags of media from previous grows before it snows here.
The 3 Mag Landrace: cut off the bottom inches of perlite/roots/nutes and bag it for trash or throw it in my ravine? Put carcasses in compost bin, and put remaining soil where I want to transplant hostas in spring?
The 3 bags from the auto grow disaster: put the coco/soil mix through a screen and store it for future use with potting soil for herbs & flowers or put it where I want to transplant hostas or lilies outside in spring?
The 4 bags of dead plants in Stonington Blend: screen it, fill two bags to start AK Purple autos (eek, low inventory!) and store leftovers for use in the photo replacement grow, to mix with new SB?

Website says: "Alaskan Purple Auto is a 90% indica strain producing some very attractive yields in a short space of time. It has a sweet, fruity flavour and a very nice relaxing high. Alaskan Purple Auto is a sizeable plant for an auto with yields to match. Indoors its life cycle is around 8 weeks with some examples coming in at around the 7 week mark. Max flowering time 9 weeks"

In a perfect world, since autos are on 18/6, when the APs were looking close I could start Wild Thai in its final bag and 2 WW fasts in plastic pots to transfer to bags when the APs are done. Those WWs were nice plants. If those new photos got started in maybe late Feb or early March I'd be dealing with heat starting in May/June during flower, 12 vs.18 hours/day of lights.

I am considering growing autoflowers again! I have 4 quart jars of Mag bud and 2 quarts of popcorn & duff, and a pint of the autodisaster bud. Won't make it through a photo grow plus cure. I don't want to waste $ at the dispo other than for South Beach or to try pre-rolls on deals to sample new strains, like sativas for pain.

Will someone mentor me through the Alaskan Purple autoflower grow if I start with tight-noders again? I'll have the new phone with better camera and start a thread for that grow.

Does what I am considering sound right? Wide open to suggestions, and input from peeps who've grown AP autos. Thanks, y'all.
 
I'm running my first autos with good success so I'm in to watch and advise where I can. You've had a very bad November but your attitude is right on! Get up, get back in the saddle and grow again! No regrets or crying (well maybe a little!) just keep on truckin"! We'll all watch with you and make it a great grow. When life kicks me I just kick back and try again. You do the same and in the end it will all be good! Toka

I'm ending my first auto grow. If I can anyone can !! Sois courageuse et forte my friend !! Now you got me looking at Alaskan Purple loll. I'm looking forward to see your grow and yes take as many pics as you can.

I will help along your way to starting a grow again. But you can do most of this i know you got the skills ya just need some confidence gal. I would not go big just start a couple seeds and prepare now the space. But you be sure your strong enough health wise to do what needs to be done. Keep it simple don't over think shit.
 
Alaskan Purple is a decent strain. Just finished a grow with them in Feb. as a part of a small rectangular pot (3 Gallon) experiment...I repurposed some dust gathering plastic containers with lids, drilled holes in the bottom and filled them with used soil from previous grows.

I expected a small yield due to the fact they were Autos and in smaller containers (normally use 5 gallon airpots) and even though the yield was low, the buds were fat and smelled absolutely wonderful (fruity):)
 
Hi budgal. I see neuro on Wednesday. Supposed to have oral surgery in November, bone removal top and bottom. I might need something to keep my mind off pain afterward. I only plan to start two of the AP autos. Stonington Blend is KISS, I just need to be sure to have a couple gallons of water pH'd ready just in case - how long can that sit and be stable? What are your thoughts on what I planned to do with my soil from the previous grows? My kitchen chairs are full of big bags of SB, the used autos bags with coco mix, and I put the dog food bags on the table because I had ptsd of going back into that closet but I have to put them back and clear my clutter, the Mag remains are still on the deck in the garden cart. It was very nice outside while I was in the hospital, past week has been cooler, rainy, gloomy, lot of rain. Weekend forecast is 68 and sunny, it's the time to deal with the old grows' soil, sift - I'll steal a kitchen over the sink window screen to use. These replacement seeds were in packaging, not tiny ziplocs like the freebies that came with my Wild That and Gelato auto seed purchase. The WW's were growing so well, hoping the AP will be better then the previous auto freebies also. Just thinking ahead, given my only other experience with autos. I have the vipar light now, keep it simple soil, bags, saucers and grates of all sizes and several colors. My guest bedroom w/the grow closet is a mess, needs purging of out-of-warranty boxes, and organization. Storage of nutes that I won't be using. And I have to remove the four dead plants/bags from the closet, maybe use the garden cart. My thing with autos is the speed of growth and possible tight nodes again - indica. I really need some inventory before a longer photo grow. The 'dead flowers' were doing so well, I was really enjoying that grow and felt pretty confident with what I was doing. Autos, not so sure. Thanks.
 
Cool. I plan to use 3 gallon fabric bags and reuse the only-used-for-veg Stonington Blend soil. I have two of the colored, mesh-lined bags now, they are true 3 gallon, I like them. What did you yield? I plan to only grow two APs so that there's room to start my Wild Thai before the APs finish. Thanks.
 
Merci, mon ami. You have 5x more light but in a much bigger space. Hoping I don't need chopsticks, it's an indica. I canvassed the pantry and saw what I had left in jars, not going to last for a photo grow to cure so I'm taking the chance on autos again. Didn't think I'd ever say those words. ;)
 
Thanks, Toka. October has been a very difficult month, to say the least. I hope the black cloud over my head dissipates, I don't wish it to move over onto someone else's head. Just trying to plan ahead with indica autos, I should locate my chopsticks or wooden shish ka bob skewers just in case. Then maybe I won't need them.
 
My yield was almost 2 ounces per plant. small but potent but then I expected small plants (less than 18 inches high).
