The Velvet Coven

Two weeks sounds right.
The pheno variations in the fast man's F1's have been crazy. One plant looks to want a good harvest in a couple weeks while another is still showing a fair amount of white hair. That has been typical. One plant has a fair load of trichomes while another practically reaches itself out the tent to stick to me. In my last grow, two plants were a good foot taller than the shortest and there was the codominant stem.
A side note:
I have a new-to-me TV, cleaned my camera lens, and put the camera on a 'leaf' setting. The pictures are so much better than before! I love upgrading, sometimes. I'm getting too set in my ways to like much change. But sometimes a good upgrade puts a nice wave in the ol' beard. Adds a few years to the eyes.
 
Looking special. The f1 and 2 strains can throw some unique effects. Check out this lanky scarlet grapes on the left. She doesn't like being confined at all.

I didn't see what I call foxtailing in third pic on last set of pics. I see alot of calyxs popping just like it should. Lots of white hairs that will be red soon. They look great to me.
 
Ginger. My hairs turn ginger, not red. Not amber. FYI.
I have not had many calyxes like those. Swollen and pronounced, I mean. They are also heavy at the nodes. Just the one plant.
Go figure.
 
Every time I pop a bean from the pollen chucker its a new venture. RVC will sometimes have a bud at the node. I usually puck it for a taste test.
 
Khee-rhapp!!! At least 10% ginger on all plants. Got one that is closer to 50%. That what I thought might be 2 weeks out looks more like 2 days, from now. The mains on one plant look like the trichomes got too big and merged. Can hardly see the hairs. How cool would that be if I got a bud with a hard trichome shell? Gonna hafta give that one special love, wot?
The buds are on the upper end of my personal bud densigraphics.

Oh yes RVC is coming on now. Keep an eye on the Fat ladies with dry pots to quick, she will rot at the top. Those are top notch buds.
 
No reds for me. Temps are too high. But, man, them other -Cakes got legit color!
I'm going to try a little experiment and cut back on the flowering Mg in my next grow.
 
Daggum ol' week ten! Lower buds. The stank has all but gone.
Ffffaaaattt trichomes. Fattest I've had, anyway. I think my harvest window is open. I'll be a hot bastard before I want to get into trimming, chinga. Maybe I could convince one of the local street people to come in and trim for me. Maybe someone from Home Depot? Does Uber trim?

Not a lick of amber in the tent. But more ginger than a... a ginger... something. Lots of ginger is what I'm trying to say.
 
I dont mind trim much. If I do trim i just smoke the trim to. RVC is a lung full now. Three good tokes and then the choke.
 
Made a little resin from some fresh flower. It is good. When folks want to know what their weed is like before harvest, I got an answer.
Won't make more with fresh as it is super nasty to work with. I've settled myself into a future of cured resin and will leave the live stuff to the industry people. Maybe. I'm sitting here thinking about doing it again. Probably will. Fucking lack of willpower.
 
6 plants in 4 pots.
Wound up having to low hang two whole plants because I ran out of room and hanging wire. Also have one hanger hanging in my bedroom closet. Split the whole plants to help with drying.
Low fan on low, plus high exhaust.

Oh yes by all means do it again and again. Squeeze one of them frosty buds with white trikes, that'll squeeze your noggin a bit.
