The Scarlet family album

High Scarlet growers here's my outdoor autos Runtz and Grape. No issues with there grow other than they were slow growing from the start in not the most ideal weather for autoflowers in my area. As soon as each had a tail they went directly to soil outdoors. They and the other 2 different strains did not like the cool temps to begin life but they all survived and are moving forward. I wish i had a better phone camara to show the frost on the Grape she's outstanding, Runtz is showy but not like Grape. Hard to say how much longer these need to mature but they've been going 2 1/2 months strickly outdoors. Not one sign of diffences that i can see by the leafs. Feeding bloom only 1xwk in the water which is city water i fill 1/2gal jugs it sits out then i mix the liquid bloom food. Both main colas are as thick as a small V8 juice can and i don't dare touch buds it's so sticky as bad as GG#4 :p Enjoy

I had my doubts about how they would turn out even if they'd grow into maturity beings the way they began but they surprised me at the mid flowering stage, they toughened up to the weather.

Ten weeks. Thought I might be harvesting, today. Not enough ginger. I'm going for butt-dropper dope. Lots of ginger trichomes.
Bleorg...
Been noticing things.
The more color to the plant, the fewer trichomes.
Plants in back of the tent stay shorter. I'm thinking being closer to the light from my door is giving the front plants an advantage. It's the back plants showing most of the color.
Much longer stems than the other Scarlets I've grown.
Much sweeter and berry-er than the past grows.
No late-stage flowering fan leaf dying.

This coming from a guy that once told me when asking about how the weed smelled said that all weed smelled the same to him. So I'm flattered.

You forget berry is one of the things I mentioned. Lemon, too.
S. Grapes does not have that endemic weed smell I usually smell.

It's strange that but so true. I can get stink when I enter the room after flip just with preflowers. Can even get a nice smell during veg. It never smells like shit though. In full flower the smell never bowls me over, early flower seems to be the most noticeable.
Looking at all the pics of buds on this site the closest looking buds to the sativas I'm growing would have to be Sour Diesel by a long shot. They look identical.

Don't get on my about picture quality. If I want sunlight, I have to open my door. When I open my door, I get a breeze and nothing focuses. You'll see more when they're all dried and pretty.

Ooh. Nice scarlet sugars.

I've never heard a good photographer complain about the breeze before.
