The Scarlet family album

My one and only trip to a shrink ended with his report to my parents, " You're gonna have trouble with that boy" Damn did he nail it.

Day 79 scarlet autos

They are close, very close to chop.

Getting them ready, removed fan leaves and leaves with out sugar on them.

Just started two scarlet galaxy outdoors a week or two ago. GWE says max file size reached, so I can't seem to post a photo unless someone knows a workaround (used to just shrink my files for me?)

When you open a pix file on the computer look for a tool that says resize. Then reduce the image, save as, then post the reduced image.

Not long. Let them dry like usual 7 to 10 days in cardboard boxes. Took buds off of stems. Put in fridge for a day or two with the lid off the container. Disintegrate the buds between your fingers over a cafeteria tray tilted at a 10 degree angle. Then swish the crushed bud around with a credit card or such. You know. Old school. Actually took about 20 minutes a plant.

Week 8. Colors!
Got the proper stank. Finally stopped growing.
Learned a couple things this week. pH after nutes. Never had an issue doing the pH first. Now, the nutes seem to take care of the pH which is between 6.2 and 6.8.
I realized I've been giving my plants a little less than half the recommended nutes for flowering. I kept the dose from the nutes I first ever used. That was wrong.

I've been having the same problems Gingerbeard with my nute ratios...mostly too little.

Also experimenting with what cal/mag supps to use with my base nutes and have run into pH instability problems in my feed tank with the wrong ones.

Also growing different strains feeding from the one source screwed me in flower badly, everything became a compromise and no way I could dial it in across the strains.

I'm changing my approach next grow and will keep a log recording EC, pH, supps and any climate anomalies. Also back to the one strain in flower will make it more readily manageable.

This is all new to me as I have always been an outdoor soil grower and moving to indoor coco hydro growing, well it's a whole new ball game and I've had to learn stuff I hadn't even heard of before and had no need to know, but I'm convinced this type of growing is definitely the best way forwards for me.

9 weeks. In honor of the return of alltatup .
Clear, cloudy, ginger, magenta, scarlet. All the colors of the trichome rainbow. Bud middles are getting pretty darnn dark.
Most major fans have been removed. Sativa long stems on those. Easiest way to remove fans is a quick downward tug at the base of the stem.
Full nutes.
Pleasantly miasmatic.
I won't say anything about the hair if you don't.
