The Scarlet family album

35 days is normal for an auto to really start flowering. Decreased light duration will result in more airy and less potent buds. If you compare to a photo the extra month removed is the payoff. People I know who have run autos with their photos say this but they do it for the seventh inning stretch bud as they call it.

Ain't heard that before. More light for better bud? Why have I not heard that? I've heard of 12/12 from seed. Not great production but still a something.
The S. family I've been growing have been short plants compared to the fem'd I've grown but have had as good or better weight with my personal top shelf bud and resin. Plant size-wise, I don't think they could produce any more. Potency, well, that always gets my attention.
Y'all got me considering maybe 8/16. Maybe 10/14. When the temperature starts rising in the coming months, it will definitely be 12/12. My light is a hot light.

I am on the top floor. Directly above me are solar panels. If I can steal a decent battery, I am going to drill a hole and hook up to them.

Day 64

Still watching the grass grow. stretch has finished and the buds are starting to bulk up.

Do you have grass growing in your soil? Lawn grass looks like? I hope you thin out some of those whispy branches make it less prone to sweating leaves.

5 weeks. Until yesterday I'd been getting at least 1" of growth per 24 hours.
Did a bunch of trimming of the lowers. Looks like there are a lot of small flowers trying to be popcorn kernel nugs. I'll do another something-something in a week.
The mains on the front two were getting too tall. They were perfect distance but the lower branches were about 3" shorter. They got bent and gave me another few inches for growth.
Can't say there's much of a smell.

That is looking most promising.

I'm in two minds about doing something something with popcorn and the lowly buds. I've been smoking those the last 5 weeks and they have been really crap..shit stuff, until now. They have come on in a really good way and now I'm having trouble finishing a whole joint...and I've almost fallen over twice...

If I was in a big bud competition I'd cull them but if given a proper cure I reckon they are good value.
