My grapes came down today. She was ready. 87 days. Nice chunky buds. Great color. Left more sugar leaves then normal. Had to. Just too much shine to get rid of. Might be a little more harsh then my buddies are used to but I have a feeling they won't mind.
Yippee for you and looks like a well done trim on her the amount of suger leaf left on is fine by me. I too won't trim out all those trichome leaf just cut a close as you want. Mine are at day 73 and hairs are turning red rusty pretty quickly now. You got a fair amount of buds also i hope you get that and more off the others.
Awesome colors Bowhunterwoody. Good job!
You too Going2fast!
We'll see how mine fair after I can correct whatever the hell is going on. They're still grumpy. Pics coming.
My 4 autos are all ripening differently. It looks like i'll be doing partial harvests on all the colas and shorter branches will just keep going. I'm at around the 80day mark on them and no i won't be cutting any yet just talking LOL.
I think i giving them their last bloom feeding today. Some lower branches are just slow with ripening and i'm quickly becoming itchy to start my photos although i do have 2 3wk old autos in with the others. I've run them together several times and i want 18/6 for the next 2+ months so all will be fine. Down to my last 4 jars of outdoor and rarely buy other than a pre roll now an then. Prices are way low here ya know supply is HIGH demand is low. It's still too costly for average person to smoke 3grams a day of decent dispensary weed. Not in my city anyway.
Getting close to the end with the 4 ladies and just beginning LST on the 2 latest autos. Buds are getting fat and smelling up my little house which i love. I'm thinking possibly end of March for biggest colas they are cloudy/clear. Tried to remove a mass of single leaf bunched up down low in centers of them, they're real freaky looking 1-3 finger leaf almost like reveg looking. Anyway i have the fan going outside the tent blowing around them last thing i need is friggin mold way down in these. Very sticky then we have those strawberry shortcake x lemon skunk autos beginning training, topped at the 4th node and bent over smelling dirt LOL. Enjoy your grows
Bluey it's only 30% when lights are on. I water early morning when they need it cause of cool room when lights off. I try and clean out the very center real close cause that's where it would start I think now i'm just trimming and removing lots of real green tiny leaf.
I think I have just commenced 4th week of flower. Still just under andaround 50% RH . I'm winding it down slowly and have 3 decent size fans plus an air-conditioner and dehumidifier moving air around...I think week 6 is the start of my danger period for mold....that's when my buds died last grow..about end of week 6 but my RH was 70 or 80% stupid...
I used photoperiod when i first learned indoor garden and practiced on those. I even use LST well just the bent over type for my big outdoor photos made those branches really stand up fill out. You can do it madman
119g final for the grapes. Still unbelievably sticky. Might have over dried a bit. 56% in the jars to start. Hope it comes back up some. Basement was 53-55% for the first 5 days, didn't check yesterday. Today was 38%. Way too low. We'll see. I hate the twig snap crap. From now on going by feel.
My best buds when ready to be smoked you would swear feel wet, but they are not...and they smoke perfectly. Achieving that has been a bit hit or miss over the years as my dedicated drying room was a garage with no controls on climate at all and drying typically took quite a few weeks. Very slow. My last dry took about 2 weeks. This dry will be completely controlled..can even hit it with far red or deep violet...decisions decisions....low humidity will be needed to keep away the nasty shit.
Fella that's awsome i'd be tickled to get 4 jars off 1 auto. I'll be tickled even more when this run of scarlets finishes. Hey Bowhunterwoody did you hear about that herd of elk that got hit by that train? What a terrible event, i been meaning to ask you knowing you like to hunt. I sure miss those days, but i can still walk in the woods. Enjoy your harvest and i'm with you about feeling the buds and I do burp those jars for couple weeks.
