I harvested the Alaskan thunderfuck mom last night,she was too tall to hang whole

Just curious. What's the benefit of leaving those fans on the plant?

I removed most of the large fan leaves,I guess I missed a few

I usually remove the leaves with the long stems,I consider those as fan leaves,if I don't see a stem, I consider those as sugar leaves and I leave them on the plants, everything I cut off goes in the freezer for washing
