I was finding it painful to bend over to work with my plants on the floor. So, In my well thought out infinite wisdom, I built a 10" tall platform to put my tent on and reduce my back aches. (Ironic isn't it; I grow weed to help with my back aches) The grow tent average temperature went up about 3 degrees above what I expected. Flash forward, after taking the temperature of various surfaces in the garage, I realized that the concrete floor, which was several degrees cooler than any other surface, was acting as a heat sink. It figures, try to make things easier and create another problem to solve.
