The Late and Lazy Grow with Slurilope and Friends

Gooey and sticky, I hate that, LOL actually I switched to using a food processor when I started growing Ethos strains but on occasion I forget and try to grind a sample in my hand grinder and end up making tincture out of ii in order to get it back apart. I grew their Slurricane #7 X Platinum Kush Breath #5 and it was kick ass smoke, that one needed the food processor for sure. I also grew their Garlic Storm and was much less impressed. I think my next grow will be sativa dominant strains then I will come back to Slurricane #7 S1
 
Day 17 bloom

Here are some top down pix of the canopy 4 hours after being thrashed. I try to get an even layer of bud sites in the net and everything at the same height. Note how the main stems are bent and kinked but not broken off. They will heal and the buds will grow.

Day 24 bloom

More work in the grow room today. Everyone is doing well. Sluricaine may be a bit pissed at me now but they will get over it and thrive.

You sure treat em mean haha, I would never have thought or tried to train them so hard at that stage but I can see why you do!
 
Day 25 bloom

A follow up on yesterday's post. They all survived the brooming.

slurilope- a different view and a close up of one of the main stems that was bent 8 days ago to a 90* angle, kinked like a plastic straw, and is now healing. The bend is forming a hard knuckle similar to what happens to a branch after the plant has been topped. They get hard and strong and will not bend again.

When will they learn.
I seem to get bigger buds on stems that have been super cropped. Maybe I will test that on the next run
 
I'm with you Allenpro, I been looking at mine trying to tell them and myself that the pain is only temporary. Haha
 
I'm convinced that these plants thrive on abuse. The first year I grew there were some outdoor plants. This one plant, the cat knocked over. That started the abuse. Every time I walked by it was hit, bent, kicked, etc. It did better than most of the outdoor plants.
 
My father in-law tells me about this plant him and his mate grew years ago where they got an old wire single mattress that had Disintegrated to just the wire skeleton and they threw it on top of a plant and then jumped on it, reckons it ended up being the biggest plant he's ever grown.
 
My dad did that with his belt after a few times of telling us to get to bed when me and my brothers were rough housing. He'd just hang it on the door knob. Scared the shit out of us.
 
Haha me and my brother had to make a smacking stick out of a 1 inch wide 1/4" thick hardwood piece that my parents used on us if they didn't like our responses or behaviour, we even rasp filed and sanded a handle into it for them.... I wonder why I smoke hahaha
 
Day 31 bloom

With both tents in their final configuration, for now I just be feeding and watching the grass grow. So far my plan to delay the grow to pass by the humid weather when the buds were fat and ripe is working. Have had 2 weeks of hot n humid, and another one now. The buds are small, the air flow good, and everyone is happy. Nothin left to do but smile, smile, smile. And the dank is starting. l love the smell of fresh dank in the morning. The tall skinny plants in the front of the tent are the solo grows.
