Tent/ lights question

Could i put 2 600watt lights in a 4x4x80 tent to give the plants more light it would be 1200watts total so a little more than a 1000w if i insulate the lights i have a 440cfm fan and y splitters to hook both lights up to my exhaust that goes out a window so the heat doesnt stay in my room

Without CO2, Yes.
You'd probably have better growth with the 2x 600W in the 4x4 but there would also be a lot of wasted light that the plants can't use without supplemental CO2 so you'd be wasting money on power for the lights when the plants can't possibly use all the light that is being created.

it there was 1000, or 1200W in a 4x4, even if all other things were perfect the limiting factor would be CO2. Plants can't photosynthesise all the light without enough CO2.

is there a way to add co2 with out a tank and ppm controller and regulator or no? and would it have to be sealed air tight?

We have a single 600W for that space and are very happy with it. I've also heard of growers putting a 1000W in that size space. I agree I think 2 x 600W would be overkill. Even if you could keep things cool, the plants probably won't be able to use all that extra light (without CO2 anyway)!

You would have to seal the tent and just run a duct from outside tent, through light and then outside of tent to vent heat from the light but still maintain a sealed environment.
There are other options other than CO2 tanks & controllers but I have no experience with any CO2 supplementation. I think for the most consistent max CO2 ppm the tanks and controllers are the way to go. The other options sometimes only raise ppm a certain amount and can never reach optimum level or sustain it for an extended period of time.

As for the tent option what would suit your needs better, one large area or two smaller ones?
If you buy a 4x8 then both lights will be in that and the 4x4 you have now will be doing nothing. Is the fan you currently have big enough for two 600s in a 4x8?
If you buy another 4x4 then you'll need to get a second fan unless it's big enough to cool both tents and you vent both tents using a Y connector and the fan outside pulling from both tents.

Just read above again and saw you have a 440cfm fan.
A 4x4x7 tent is 112cf. Two has a total volume of 224cf
Your fan would be able to vent the air in both tents roughly every 30 seconds at maximum efficiency. Depending on your local climate and the efficiency of the entire exhaust/ducting system due to Y join etc it may or may not be enough.

Although the same fan in a 4x8 would have a more efficient exhaust/ducting system and be more up to the job.

If you have a carbon filter you could probably use the same one in a 4x8 but if you went with two 4x4s then you'd need to get a second one further reducing the efficiency of the exhaust setup.

Just some things to take into consideration.

thank you for the input wife is going to love filling our bedroom with another 4x4x7 i think i should still barely have enough room for the queen! i will just leave the stuff packaged still i start cutting clones and getting ready. i bought a turbo klone t24 for clones. but the free light makes me okay with buying another tent!
