Ten year plan finally done.

Some vegetables I grow (like corn, but also field peas and some tomatoes are "Determinate") which means they grow for all their worth for there genetically determined life span and die. It's good farmers that want to pick their whole crop in a short period of time instead a little every day. Mostly commercial farmers or if you are putting a lot away for winter. The origin of these plants are unknown to me, I do know the now deceased Bag Seed plant has been cultivated for several plant generations to produce a short, not aromatic plant for a stealth grow in the Midwest. My daughter (a professional biologist) thinks it could be an Auto, another term for a "determinate"

On the Vegetative side of the room the Clone training is going good. Almost time for another defoliation, I'm waiting to see if my daughter wants any Clones, if not, I am defiantly making at least one (1). It is easy to grow, big buds, reputed to have great potency, and is a heavy producer. I may let my AK48 seeds wait, and just do two (2) or three (3) Seriously Happy clones. Small tent three (3) by three(3).

I'm curing the Bag Weed plant and Seriously Happy. The root bound, cultivated Bag Seed plant weighed forty seven (47) grams dried, and Seriously Happy weighed one hundred sixty two (162) grams dried. So at dispensary prices around here between seventeen (17) dollars a gram and twenty two (22) dollars a gram, a little higher in tourist areas. I have more than paid for my grow expenses. I still have Critical Mass in the tent, but it will get harvested any day now. I am just waiting for even one amber Trichome to appear.

Thanks St. buds. Critical Mass is about half way between the Bag Seed Plant and Seriously Happy plant. I hope to get about one hundred (100) grams of dried bud from it. I started to cut it today, but still not one amber Trichome. All the trichomes are milky, If I don't see an amber in a day or two (2), I'm harvesting anyway. My daughter says it is slow to mature.
I helped her move last weekend, in the process I was able to try Seriously Happy, I'm favorably Impressed, very potent cerebral high, lasted about three(3) hours. very pleasant.

Thanks Oldjarhead100, this old Squid would love to burn a bud with you. The Serious Happy is really good bud, Critical Mass is getting harvested tomorrow, that Seriously Happy clone is huge and needs the room. All the trichomes on Critical Mass are milky, no amber, It should be fine.

If you ever do, let me know when your plane arrives I will come pick you up. You can stay with me, we burn bud and discuss the ways of the world in some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. I am old guy, I have seen a lot. My country sent me all over the world, of them all I like this best.

I understand, we have walked the same trails, at 4:20 (four twenty) P.M very day Eastern time I will smoke a bowl. So if you happen to do the same thing, we will smoke with each other by proxy. Of course I will observe the same for Central Time, Mountain time, and Western time. If I can still find my pipe, I'll observe 4:20 Alaska time.

The Seriously Happy clone is huge, with lots of buds. I'm hoping to harvest in a few weeks. Seriously Happy is excruciating slow to mature, the buds just never seem to stop growing, so when they slow down appreciably, and most of the fox tails are brown, I harvest with excellent results.

Nicee, keep us posted.!!! congrats on living in alaska, that must be awesome, i went up to kenai when i was 21 to go fishing for halibut and silver salmon, was the coolest place id ever been to. looking forward to seeing your pics. is it legal up there?

Thanks, Alaska is pretty great. I have been Southeast Asia, South America, Europe, southern United States, northeastern United States, Alaska is where we are the happiest.
Alaska is legal for Medical, Recreational and Home Grown. One (1) ounce possession per person, twelve (12) plants per person total, vegetate and flowering. Home storage is a very ambiguous "reasonable amount".
The losers in the Election are still trying to prohibit commercial production and sales with zoning laws so far all five (5) local ballots around the state have failed with a seventy percent (70%) vote to allow production in the boroughs, and sixty eight percent (68%) vote to allow retail sales in the cities, of the ones that were able to get on the ballot.
The big issue now is where can the tourists smoke. The Hotels are all nonsmoking rooms, you can't smoke in public, designated smoking for hotel and businesses are Tobacco only. To keep the tourists from smoking in the city parks, bills are in the state house to allow on site consummation in the Dispensaries, separate room (filter exhaust to prevent smell, no windows (see no evil), security is already like a Las Vegas casino. Alaska is getting there, the lab analysis required for retail sales is real good, testing is done several microorganisms, I can't spell them, but its more than for food or water. Insects, pesticides, non food grade nutrients are tested for with no detectable amounts allowed.THC, CDB, CBN, are given in percent, various terpenes are also listed, I just ignore that part, I don't know enough about them to use that information.
The next pics will be harvest, I'll show drying and cured and give finished weight.

Beautiful Charlie, I really enjoyed reading your journal , it's been great. We are planning our first trip to Soldotna in June to visit our kinfolks, my brother has already been there before, loves it there, a cousin works at the golf course up there, they all say the scenery is awesome, have a great day Charlie.
