Genotype and phenotype!! We have to keep in mind that plants are living organisms and the outcome of a natural breeding process, hence unique as any person, animal on earth. The genotype or genetic code carries all the genetic information regarding growth, appearance, and all the characteristics we can later observe.
Kingfish, I too thought that it had 11 fingers at first look , but upon a closer look (see enlargement) the '11th finger' is attached to the adjacent leaf.
Thanks, I really did not have much to do with it, I just talked nicely to them every day, feed and change them, just what any good parent would do ! (lol)

This is very true, and may account for the differences in the plants from my last grow, from the same seed stock, but some what different results.
ALSO, I wish to ask Jibblerjoe, "Were they on only one foot? or both together???"
