Temperature and Autos

I have been planning my grows around the concept that auto's do not do well in hot environments. This is (allegedly) do to the fact that the Ruderalis strain which causes auto's to flower on their own originates from Siberia, an obviously cold environment (at least for now). On the other hand there are hot weather strains such as Haze and other topicals that are auto flowering. My grow space gets quite warm ( 85 +) and there in nothing meaningful I can do about it. Could I grow auto Haze in 85 plus degrees? Is this all Bro science?
 
Lots of studies have been done on temps & humidity throughout the plants life cycle using different strains and measuring for yield and potency.

Yes you can grow any cannabis plant at those temps but your results re quality and yield wont be as high as they would be growing at lower temps.

I'm finding that temps around 24⁰C to 22⁰C early to late flower are producing tight potent as little nugs in a couple of strains I have grown. I match the temp with a humidity to get VPD where it has to be, on the conservative side and keep light at just below problem levels for leaf issues
 
I don't know from bro science. What I have observed is, the cooler the temperatures are, the better my dope is in quantity and quality. The thicker my clothes are, the thicker my buds are. Heavy shirt, heavy shit.
 
Anything above 85 only heavy sativa leaning varieties will do well. My Scarlet Galaxy did well outdoors in the mid Atlantic Coast due to her heavy sativa lineage. Everything else I've tried turned out stunted and airy. Night owls zamadelica express I've heard does well at high temps.
 
So, we have determined that temperature (and humidity) effect harvest results. However, that does not answer my question which was: Is there an negative effect to growing autos in a warm environment? Especially haze strains?
 
Reduced yield and quality, maybe more susceptible to mold I think.

Veg will love it flowers not so much
