I have been using store bought spring water for my five gallon bubbler, and may be over thinking things cause I still have to take the Ph down a bit. My tap water has a 6.9 Ph and 97 ppm. With the tap water my concern is the chloramine. So far my research says, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice per gallon will kill the chloramine. It also takes my Ph down from 6.9 to 5.8 ,which I believe is satisfactory. Plus I believe the tap water has some useful minerals. Does anyone see any problems with this ??
