Yes very tall plant I have two plans one is 51 in tall it's not very bushy I would like to get it lowered down to not above my railing on my back porch how can I get that main stock that is 51 + 2 shorter any ideas please let me know plant is in the vegetable state thank you

You could tie the plant down. If it is still in veg it should be pliable enough not to break it. But, you'll have to be careful not to break it.
I have had to do this before with a too tall plant. See my photo below...You may be able to tie your plant down even further, as you need.
Others in here may have other suggestions...good luck!
