They have reached 24"-26" which is half of my planned ultimate height. I'm going to flip them to 12/12 today after a water change. How much of them should I defoliate?

I would do a large fan leaf defo. Id start trimming off the scrap at the way bottom- which may not get light.

Id do it again within 3-7 days- depending on growth... and again by the 14th day for the last time... making just small bud zones-

agree i would clear the bottom 3 inches for airflow and wait until the stretch is over to remove anything else

Post defoliation. Found that yellow stripe on an upper inner leaf.
