Switch from peat moss to coco?

This is my second grow. I'm growing a dozen plants in peat moss (Pro Mix-M), outdoors in 5-gallon bags. The results have been, thus far, successful enough. However, given the environmental issues surrounding peat moss I'm considering the switch to Coco Coir.

Is it worth it for me to switch? Is this something I would regret doing next year?

never heard anyone regretting switching to coco or even switching back to soil
