SweetSeeds- RedPoison day 21

PaganRich, Thanks, my friend, she is fun to watch grow, for a day or two, she will throw a bunch of pistils out, then she quits, a few days later a few more pistils, she aint quite made up her mind on when to really start flowering yet, you ever had one like that PaganRich?

Hey Daas in a different post you said to feed coco every day I'm watering every 2 days now at about 1/2 strength ,I usually water out of a 5 gallon bucket with 6 gallons in it and spread that over 10 plants

how would I go about figuring what I should give every day

Hey Ojh, try feeding every 8-10 hours, just about 10-12 ozs, I'm only in 2gallon pots, so you might need a little more, but not much.
All I do is water around the stalk every 8-10hours, about 10ozs, and I keep notes how much nutrients I'm using, an I keep increasing a little every time till I see tip burn, but I ain't seen none yet, and I'm a good bit over what Advanced Nutrients say to use. But every time I look at them, they are loving what they are getting, Leaves erect, pointing up. So I ain't changing sh-t. If it ain't broke, lol. I promise, yours will grow better-faster, if you try that way. Good luck, it's just a little more work, but you want be walking in to look at droopy ass, plants either.

oldjarhead100 how do you get 6 gallons in a 5 gallon bucket?! You'll have to teach me that trick!
I water my coco everyday sometimes twice a day. 6 plants with a total of approx 33 gallons of medium (5.5 gallons each - they are in 7gal bags). In veg I did once daily waterings, with a total of about 1.5 gallons (quart per plant). In flower, I had to increase. When I water once it is at least 2.25 gallons. If twice, I give one gallon on added watering and then only about 1.75 gallons at normal time (2.75 total for the day). I water a lot and get a good amount of run-off with these quantities. I am not concerned about over-watering at all, so I err pretty strongly on that side.

Hey Camp, it's more than one way to skin a cat ,ain't it. lol., very rare ,two people grow the same way. Most of the times it works out in the end, anyway, but there is definitely an easy way to get positive results.

Day 63 for the RedPoison, she's getting there, still ain't seen no red, lol, just striped purple stalks, an stems, but she is flowering good now.

a 5 gallon bucket hold 6 gallons but there is still 2 or 3 inches left in the bucket I just fill them to the top, when I water during the outside grows I give each plant a gallon of water and one bucket full of water does six plants I know its not real scientific but hey it works for me .

She's a real beast, DAAS! Wow! She put up with a lot this winter, and she showed her strength in spite of it; maybe just gonna take her an extra week or so, do you think?

Yeah, shes gonna be pretty large, she has got about 20 big thick branches, that's gonna be big red buds I hope, one of these days, but I can promise you, that she is as healthy as all get out, lol .
Been a real pleasure to get one that really wants to grow, properly, .an without any problems.
That silica, does make the stalks an branches lots stronger and bigger.
Ps- you can grow some large plants in 2gallon pots, but it really helps growing them in 4inch Grodan rockwool blocks, to get their roots established inside the rockwool wrapper, you
pull the wrapper off, after the roots are
established inside the wrapper.
Thanks Alltatup.

Made me chuckle at the grow shop Friday I saw a five gallon bucket with measuring lines on the side, I think they wanted 15 bucks for it. Why not just take a bucket you can get for a couple bucks, put a gallon of water in it mark it, add another gallon mark it etc.

I get buckets for free, most super market bakery's receive there cake frosting and donut filling in them. You can usually go to the bakery department and ask, and they will give you whatever they have back there. Usually just get thrown out, so good for the environment to.
