From the picture in your first post, I'd say as soon as that set of leaves grow out a bit and the next set starts, top it then. At least, that's what I would do. But if plant is still in recovery from another issue, don't want to stress it further.

This will work, your pot looks big enough to handle it. More roots less stress on the plant.
