Supercrop or harvest??

It would help if wen knew a few things. A) Indoor or outdoor? B) How long have they been in flower? C) What strain (or what is recommended flower time by breeder)?

If the buds at the bottom need a few more weeks so do the buds at the top. When i harvest, sometimes i do take it a branch at a time but only if i dont have enough space to dry the entire plant at once and i make sure to complete the harvest withing a few days.

I dont really understand what you mean by "bud seems almost dry". Is it dead? It shouldnt be drying until it's cut down. Also i dont understand why you want to supercrop? is it getting too tall for the space it's in? It looks like you are outdoors and if thats the case, there is no real reason to supercrop this late in flower. Indoors, it's used to control plant height and outdoors, most of the time you just have to lst as it grows in veg.

More than likely it's not time to harvest yet and i would just leave it alone until the rest of the plant is done but if we had some more info and full plant pics it would be easier to tell.

I thought super crop could be an good alternative instead to cut the top, not for space reasons (outdoor) but in order to maintain the top attached to the plant and hoping the other buds would get bigger? Probably completely wrong... The little bud is not dead but it is way more brown than the rest of the plant... I would say it is over five weeks now flowering

Ahh ok. Sorry, i must have missed that post, or was high lol. Now i got ya. It still has a ways to go imo. Probably at least a month and yes the buds will get bigger. They really start to fatten in the last few weeks of flower typically. However, looking at that first pic with the curled leaves, it does look like something is wrong with that bud. I would do a thorough inspection of the plant, especially that bud. I was thinking maybe some bud rot (https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/bud-rot) but its hard to tell. You may, in this case, want to remove that top. The leaves should not be curling like that imo that early in flower. I have a plant on week 6 of flower and all the leaves are green and healthy. The purple may be because of temps, usually colder climates. Also it could be genetics so im not worried too much about that. But that bud does look suspect to me. Especially with rain and high humidity, it would be better to chop it than for it to spread. My 2 cents!
