I don't know if I read correctly, but when growing in Super Soil (KindSoil) do you have to give your plants nutes still? If so, what is recommended and how much?

From what I've read and learned no u put the super soil in lbs to the size gal container and the rest fill with regular soil! U just feed regular water!!! I've watched subcool give nutrients because the plant outgrew the container! And the leaves will turn yellow if hungry but otherwise they r supposed to have everything they need!! I am also doing my first run with super soil and one with a no till method!! The no till is kicking ass!!! Super soil is OK nothing special in my opinion but my first time and dwc is doing great as always!! I mostly wanted to see if there was a big different in flavors!! But best of luck!!

While it's not a super soil - I use Roots Organic Original (amended) and add a Nirvana Flowertab and only water.
You still have to read your plants health and add nutrients based on what the plant is telling you:
Auto's can go from seed to harvest in one container- just watering every 3 days with above.- adding protekt weekly with watering.
Indica's seems to need a little boost around the 2nd week of flower @ 1/4 strength for 1 dose ! - also use protekt.
Sativa's need to have nutrients added@ 1/4 strength for 1 dose/week- 2 weeks before through 2 weeks after the switch to 12/12- also use protekt.
A post-mortem of my last grow showed that the roots could have been better developed in both the 2 and 3 gallon containers- so I will look at soil additions to effect this, as well as increased lights (on order).
The super soils are hot soils and you may not be able to germinate seeds in them.
I was intrigued by the concept of placing super soil in the bottom of the container and then use Roots Organic Original on the upper layers- that way as the plant matures, it get a stronger soil to grow into.
I ultimately decide to simply add a Nirvanashop flowertab (organic 1 and done) as you make the flip instead.

Looking forward to my next indoor auto grow which will be with Kind soil and Ocean Forest on top. Going to try no nutes, but will monitor health throughout if additional nutes are needed, though package says it shouldn't unless I have extended vegetative growth, which for autos won't happen. 🌻

I used a great super soil and used no extras nutes until switching to bloom cycle, when I started a bloom food. My planted thrived profusely with no added nutrients.

I will add this, we transferred from 2 gal buckets to 5 gal buckets a few days before the switch, which gave them a whole bunch of new soil. The only nute I added during 12/12 cycle was a bloom enchancer. Then again I was probably one of the lucky ones. Never had a pH problem, bug problem, no hiccups, except for the one that hermied on me. Not sure why that happened, except that is was bag seed.

I followed the kindsoil recipe almost verbatim from their site. I hope they turn out!
I love being able to just feed my girls PH'ed water. In hydro it took me almost 30 minutes to mix up a batch of nutrients. All the bottles and measuring... don't miss it at all. What I do miss, is the explosive growth you get from hydro. I felt like a guy standing on a trash can lid trying to keep all of the contents in when growing in hydro....
The reason I switched is to get cleaner, tastier medicine. I decided to try to mimic nature since she's the best at it. Understanding the synergy between microbes and plants sealed the deal. I don't fully understand it all but I think I have a solid grasp.
If kindsoil doesn't work out for me, the next step is to try M3 supersoil. I may go that route regardless. Time and my wallet will dictate...
