My latest harvest of AK Berry has been in the curing jars for a week now and I've been dying to press some into yummy rosin!

.

So broke out some yummy smaller buds and although I'm a rank beginner, I'll share some of the insights I've gained from the steep learning curve of rosin pressing...

100% of my pressing has been done on this press, so after several semi-succesful and not so succesful nug and hash smashing sessions, I focused on youtube videos using this exact press to increase my yields. I'm finally getting confidant in my ability to get decent yields consistantly...

Rule #1
Fire in, Fire out.....Done properly, freshly dried quality bud will reward you with gobs oif golden rosin, while crappy weed and trim should be turned into hash before pressing or you'll be wasting time and bags

Rule #2
Study the limitaions of your press and play to it's strengths.......I'm using the Nugsmasher mini and it's designed for only 2 types of presses: 1g-2g buds without a bag, or up to
3.5g using their 1/8oz bags bottle tech style. This press is specifically desgned to press the rosin out of the diameter of puck that will be produced by either method

Rule #3
Relative humidity is key! Use Boveda 62 humidipaks in your curing jars for best rosin flow.....If the weed is too dry, your yield will greatly suffer.
