Suggestions for cutting Mom in half?

Hey all! So, I’ve got this clone and I let her way out of hand. She’s about a year old and 2 1/2’ tall now and in the tent with my autos that are finishing up.

When the autos are done I want to flower her but she won’t fit in my tent after stretch.

I’d like to take about a foot off her height. Any thoughts on how best to do this? Or just start cutting away?

The bigger cuts you take the bigger plants you’ll have starting out. You have many options....if you want to flower the cuttings too I’d take tall ones, that’ll give her time to grow back out a little while they get roots then flower the cuttings with mom. Maybe keep a few to find another mom. Think about what you want result wise before you start whacking away at her.

If you don’t have room to grow more plants then supercrop her over low and put a net in your tent to keep them down and immediately flip to flower

my suggestion is to learn how to make feminized seeds, your mom is a beast and needs to be grown out, take some cuttings and make sure they root then look at GWE tutorial on feminized seeds. you will be better off in the long run. If seeds are not an interest then like a lot of the growers on this thread has said, cut some smaller cuttings and keep them.
