Check this page out, reasonable explanation...to me, sugar leaf is only the small protruding leaves, usually as singles, that emerge from the developing and mature buds. Farmall Thanks for the good link. I was looking to defoliate the long 3 finger leaves them had second thoughts since they appear to be growing from the cola. Started to wonder if they should go or not.
