Struggling week 6

Driller

New member
Hi been having issues over past few days with my lsd auto. Shes in 2nd week of flower everything has been going fairly well.
my setup 1000w cob veg+ bloom 20" from canopy
3 gal smart pot, plant magic+ soil 30% perlite
GH trio grow/micro/bloom
Ph adjusted to 6.5.
Was last watered on the 28/08/ so 3 days ago with 2.5L water and nutes grow1.6ml micro2.8ml bloom 4.2ml.
I have usually given 2.5L of water when plant needed watering which is usually 3 days and everything had been going well the pot is light today but soil is still moist under surface. Plant seems to be looking like shes overwatered. Shes been droopy for past few days the leaves seem healthy no signs of yellowing temp is 23c average humidity 55 average. I have never been able to get much runoff was thinking maybe my soil was to compacted at bottom of pot I have a dish with a riser so air can get to bottom of pot. Im just worried about how shes looking at the moment.

3 gal pot is a 11 Liter pot.
That is a good amount of water ? I never watered my autos with 2,5 liters of water. Not even in a 20L pot.
I have 35L pots in my tent now, 10 weeks of veg. And I’m only giving them 1,7 liter of water every time.

I think you are overwatering just a bit in my opinion

I agree with the Captain i think it's just overwatering. Gotta lift that pot when you can really it's hard to judge plants absorption by a calendar of days last watered. Boy have i overwatered.....many a time :)

Thanks Capt and SoOrbudgal been overthinking this to much was lifting pot but talking myself out of not giving water im gonna tie myself to a chair and leave her to dry:laugh: thank you both for advise

Shes looking worse today guess I just got to ride this out was thinking she would perk up by now.

You wrote earlier you don’t get much run off, because the soil maybe is to compact?
This could be your reason why it’s “drowning” can’t access enough oxygen when you water the plant maybe

Im thinking maybe I can carefully remove it from the pot and see if I can loosen the soil I suppose ive not got any other option its not going to get any better

Hey Capt I appeciate the input youve given me will use it in future. Cant expect you to grow my plant for me. I removed from pot did seem quite compact like a big sponge I dont think I put enough perlite in my mix. Anyway I poked some extra holes in bottom of pot and added a layer of perlite in bottom and replanted there wasnt any bad smells so il see how this goes. Thanks again for your input.

Hey Driller, I think your nute % is way too high for 2.5l of water. Im using GH trio and according to drain to waste feeding directions, your mix is nearly twice as high as it should be. The mix for 3.79l(1 gallon) Is Grow-1ml Micro-4ml Bloom-5ml Your using at least a quart less water so your nute mixture is much more concentrated...I would cut you feed mix in half and see how it reacts. Get a 1 gallon watering can..make things much simpler.
