Strain opinions please

I'm using very high CBD strains to treat 3 lifelong chronic pain conditions. Right now I'm planning on growing some cannatonic for that purpose.

I also suffer from really bad insomnia, do you guys know of any strains that are good for both conditions?

Suggestions would be much appreciated.
 
well for insomnia, I'd go with the heaviest couch lock 100% Indica that you could find.
Northern Light I hear is a pretty heavy body stone.Or Dream Weaver
But I'm more fond of Sativas so Maby someone can chime in on the subject.

Yep, you definitely want an indica (or indica dominate). Most seed places will allow you to input the effects you want... and more to bring up the strains that meet your criteria. It really helps in narrowing down the strains you're looking for. I personally have a lot of fun researching the strains. Seedsman for example has a list of 21 different effects. Nirvana Seeds has about that many too.
 
I have heard, though I have not grown it or smoked it myself, that Pineapple Chunk is a very good medical strain.
