Storing ground weed

Since I use most all of my herbs for edibles, I would like to grind all or most all of my harvested herb at one time. Are there any issues with storing dried and cured and ground pre-decarbed or decarbed herb in the mason jar it was cured in? If not a problem, I would vacuum seal the jars for future use. When ready is use I typically grind to a fine powder to add to a cookie recipe. Thank you for your response to this inquiry.

Sounds like unnecessary roughness. Keep it unground for storage that will help keep its flavor/smell.
But easy storage for edibles I make butter and freeze it in ice cube trays then bag it in the freezer for storage. Then just use THAT butter in the recipe.

Thank you for your input Stickybeard. I have made butter before in my LEVO. It's kind of a pain. I'm not sure of the results. Can only make two cups at a time. Used most of it in cookie recipes and a bit to fry eggs. I really didn't see or feel much effect. Maybe I wasn't holding my mouth right. Thank you again for your input. Stay well and stay safe.
