SOIL Still a week or more from harvest? Jack Herer Femenized x4 supersoil

Hey guys,

First up - thanks for all the help throughout my first grow. I think it has been going really well. It has been 15 weeks, 8 weeks in flowering. Judging by the hairs and trichomes, I think it is still too early? Might be a week or two until they go milky and I should harvest? Interested in what your expert eyes think. I want a balanced high, so thinking when the first trichomes turn amber?

Thanks!!

It's hard to tell anything with the purple light. If you can get good pictures in natural light, that would help greatly. Also, the trichomes you want to look at are the ones on the buds, not the leaves. The leaves will tend to show that the plant is ripe enough to harvest, when in all reality they still have a couple weeks to go.

I grew Jack Herror auto from ILGM, took for ever and I finally cut it down. It just kept growing. I like just a few amber, not looking for a couch lock. It looked like it was starting to fox tail so I harvested. But to give you an ideal, I do grow in water

The are looking really close and really nice!
I went back to my grow journal. The time lines for this is a JH Auto, but gives you a ideal
jack Herer Auto Flower
112 Days Grow Total
68 Days Flower (Maybe a few more, but I waited until I was sure it was flowering)

Gjourney101 it takes some adjusting but spend time with it my eyes are so blurry at times trying to focus too much sun when i was young did not wear eye protection. I bought 2 60x + one is lite one is not. You can get them real cheap.

Day 60 of flower: Here are some new pics (3 days since the last photos). A lot more of the pistils have gone brown and curled in. The trichomes seem to still be glassy and no real amber ones yet. Still too early? Again, I'm looking for the energetic / euphoric end of the spectrum, not so much couch lock.

Also - I've read in some places that people like to remove all fan leaves ~3 days before harvest, to redirect some final nutrients to the bud. Any real evidence for this? Or should I leave them all on til harvest.

I just did a big defoil on some autos that are days away like your photo. Sure days away go ahead and do yourself a favor and start getting the largest leaf off Heck they will love the air flow :)
