Thanks YYCannabis , that is an interesting article. It does verify what my gut feeling always told me although I did expect the price to increase from tax as compared to street prices which it appears has not happened. It did not clarify however, whether state taxes on recreational use were included in those price comparisons. I believe those taxes average around 25% which would be approx $65 US at $260 OZ. I do believe that most users would still rather buy from their "connection" than be documented by the state as a user....

I see increase in gram prices at dispensary since covid. Our gov-nar is increasing taxes on all things that leads to pleasure. I sure as heck don't know where $50 million a month goes? Yet they keep pushing for new world taxes, hidden in bills. Money for votes is all it's coming down to. Sure as hell did'nt go to the schools or roads.

I'll take that document that lets me be legal in my state, 2 year permit for $25 I can do (another $25 for the Dr). It has been nice standing near my plants talking to a LEO with no fear of jail!
Street prices dropped a little (IDK where they are today) and dispo weed is high as hell. I have been in a few dispos, and even bought a candy bar said to be 10 doses. I ate the whole thing and not even a buzz, 10 doses by whose definition?

Right Rwise i experienced same effect off some gummies my sister had. She has a larger frame than me says 1 and she's done, me i ate 1 waited 1/2hr ate another.

That's the lowest tax I've heard of; It's 25% in AZ for recreational. Less of course for medical.

Having said that, I feel for you all in the USA. It should be legalized everywhere. the benefits, economically, recreationally, medicinally and policing (or the lack of need thereof) are obvious.
