I'm a total newbie but I'm using a layered mix of fox farm Happy Frog and ocean forest for 1 auto plant with a 18/6 light cycle in a 2x2x4 tent. My brother who's been growing for a few years has told me that with layering those 2 soils I shouldn't have to add any nutes through out its whole life cycle because the happy frog will give the seedling all the nutes it needs until the roots reach the ocean forest this plant only sprouted 5 days ago so I'll be keeping a close eye on her to see if that's true or not

Just raised the lights from 18 inches to 24” due to high heat inside the tent… leaves look like they wanted to curl…

You get around fella i seen your same grow on another website under a different name but it's your grow. I like reading about different grow techniques .

Update: havent done nothing today besides moisting the soil once it drys out. Doing 250ml per plant at the moment with a pH of 6.5
my concern which Is the heat… I will be investing in a few things to have better control of my envioronment

Heard! Im watching a few videos by Mr. cannucks and watching several auto grows. What got me concern is heat… currently have the tent at 86*F / 41% humidity

Tomorrow makes day 10 for northern lights auto, 74 more days to go for harvest date, and purple punch auto will be turning 9 days old, making it 61 days until harvest. Both are growing daily so quickly

They look good. A little advice. Wet them planters down well not just at the stem. The soil is pulling away from the sides which means it's too dry. You want the entire planter saturated but not to run off. Keep an eye on your ph. Fox farm is notorious for having wild swings from bag to bag. I always add 2/3 cup of dolomite lime to 5 gallons of soil regardless. Then no worries about calmag. Check out my journals.
