Spots and Burns..!

I have cut back the plants in my tent from 10 to 16 to 9 to 6...
i initially had gnats so I have to transplants and prune roots it got bad but now that’s over and my plants have recovered. It’s been about a week and yes they have grown but very little new growth and the new growth is bright green at the top only.

I have a few leaves that have spots and burns and a few leaves that are drooping and a few curling up. I did possibly used a lot of nutrients. I used root powder sprinkled into the hole and then used a cap of the super thrive on top and then watered well.

i recently gave them a little water, just enough. I’m trying to keep the soil dry so gnats don’t come back. I out them into bigger container from 6x4 into 2.5 gal fabric pots. I have a few nutrients like azomite and bat guano but nothing like CalMag..

You can handle your fungus gnat problem by covering your soil with a layer of diatomaceous earth. Keep adding to the top as it soaks in to keep a thin layer at all times. The eggs hatch every so often and you don't want to leave that top layer exposed. You got a big grow bag there so try to water more away from the stem to encourage the roots to spread out. The newer growth looks good so try not to feed it too many nutrients for awhile. That bag is holding enough for a good long while. When I use bags I will put like 5-6 stones under it to keep it out of standing water. Best of luck!

If it is outside then ladybugs would be my choice. Second would be Spinosad and fans.

Insulation add lava rocks to my plants but after transplanting another plant I found this weird looking black and grey bug that didn’t move to fast looked like a tic crossed with a ant. It loved the rocks so I stopped using them in my grow. Outdoors I still use them because they absorb heat in the day and let it off at night to keep the soil temp right.

Plants are bouncing back and I water every few days but I have been watering the base I will start watering around the soil away from the stem.
