Spider Mites

New member
First time grower. Got a late start but things are going surprisingly well. One Diesel inside just about ready but has Spider mites. Been hand canceling them as best I can. Lots of dark hairs but trichomes are still mostly clear. Some turning milky, some amber. I'm just waiting on a bit more color change......Outside plants in various stages doing well. No mites. A couple with dark hairs but again waiting on trichome change. hoping it happens before the first frost. Might be good till a week into November. ANY suggestions.....Having fun! ..

for indoor grows, I use Food grade diatomaceous earth and sprinkle it over the surface of the topsoil. Then I make sure the plants are always moving, using fans. Both seem to work quite well in discouraging and eventually killing them off. Outdoor grows there are some companion plants plants you can grow around them (in other areas of the garden or pots next to each other) that protect against all kinds of insects...Peppermint, sunflower lavender all work good...but there are more

I use ISO and water to kill the borg, can 1 part ISO to 8 parts water, I use 50/50 (evaporates faster). Must be done every 3 days as i only kills adults, for at least 3 treatments then watch for the return.
And look into bud washing if the bug shit bothers you.

Late on yhe reply. Thanks I'll go to 50/50. Sprayed some Bronner's today on this grows new plants. I did wash one plant last year. I guess it could be processed for oil or something. And I'm most likely smoking bug shit. Lol
