Spider mites

So, I have the Borg(spider mites) ony plants. My fault probably, I did not catch on very fast. At first I thought it was bloom die off of the lower shade leaves but now I know it's mites. Was able to see them with the 60x loup I just got.

Question is has anyone had luck with the 1:9 alcohol and water mix that is suggested on the GWE main site? My plants are late into bloom. Will harvest in 1-2 weeks so my options are limited.

I have food grade DE that I have dusted the plants with to help some. I know I'm probably not going to eliminate these until I can go hard core after harvest. Just wondering if the alcohol would help or will it wreck my plants being they are in bloom.

Alcohol mix will kill what you can hit, good for initial treatment . I've had good results with alternating spinosad & SM90.

Thanks. I'll bleach the tent and put a no pest strip in it after I harvest. Just need something that won't hurt the bud for now. To get me through.
