HELP! spider mite!

ok so ive been fighting a loosing battle with spider mites. I introduced a predator mite ( Persimilis ) but now I've noticed webbing on 2 buds. its about 2 weeks out from harvest so thinking ill just chop now rather than wait another week till the Persimilis are at full strength.

Now my question is.. will the bud still be smokable? what would be a good solution to remove the mites from the plant.. water wash? suck them off with a vacuum cleaner?? compressed air? h2o2 bath? I'm sure some of you on here would have had this issue before.

ive not used any chems on them as I could not find anything that was safe late flower

this is doing my head lol

any advice on this would be fantastic

Regards
Rob

Test run with warm water. Cant see a single one left alive .. just lots of dead bodies. Thinking maybe the vacuum cleaner trick to remove the body's.

any other suggestions with be welcome :) looks like it's going to be a busy weekend cleaning the room up and destroying any in my tent. I have some nasty toxic stuff to do that ;)

I`d spray your buds and girls with a solution of alcohol and water...if the mites aren`t used to it it will kill quite a lot and allow you to generally `wash` your plants...the alcohol evaporates quickly and leaves no smell/ taste....I`d do that every 3 days for a max of 3 by which time not only are they becoming immune but probably very pissed as well-that should take you to harvest

I've had no visible evidence of mites in the past but saw babies on the buds not much bigger than a trichome bulb 1 or 2 per flower. I'm guessing dried and smoked wouldn't be much concern.
Regardless, this year I used "Safer" brand "insect killing soap" concentrate. Not even a gal. used to date. NO bugs. Wind damage and 1 bad bud yes. Used on my veg garden and killed some big ass bugs!
As others have said in the past 40 yrs we have all probably smoked much worse from other countries that don't give a rats ass about us.
Not affiliated with Safer or any other.
