Over the last 15 years I've depended on a number of Forums to help me do very technical things. CAD modeling, computer rendering, four axis milling (The three dimensions X, Y, Z + A rotary) and building/calibrating/using 3D printers. Members are worldwide in all, work alone and genuinely depend on the expertise of strangers to function at a professional and/or artistic level. These Forums use a quality of input metric to "title" members. Becoming a Master or Wizard can take years. Photos are also a significant element to achieve those levels.
There are folks in Ukraine, Scotland, Greece, Italy, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Ecuador, Columbia. Brazil, India and US that rock those forums. When one of those guys posts a tip,, I read it even if its unrelated to my needs. Their insights and experience is just so deep.
Its very helpful. A bit of work for somebody obviously, but really does cut down on confusion for new members. And fortunately helps members filter the occasional attention seeker or troll. No trolls here that I've seen, but I have seen some advice that is not up to the very high standard that GWE offers.
GWE rocks. I am most appreciative.
