Spaced out buds on day 19 of flowering

Hey guys. I have what I believe is a northern light that I moved into the 12 12 room on the 21st of October. She is under to 450 watt viparspectra LEDs. In a 5-gallon cloth pot, originally with kind soil in the bottom section and promix in the top. That was when we thought she was and auto which it was supposed to have been. So having discovered that it is indeed a photo, I've started adding a weak solution of megacrop and molasses when I water her now because the kind soil I'm sure it's on its way out. As far as nutrient levels go. Anyway that's just information to fill you in on this plant. My question is on some of the stems the buds have like 2 and 3 inches in between each bud where on other places on the plant it looks like the whole thing is going to be solid bud. What causes them to be spaced out that way? Did I not have the light close enough or something? I keep the room between 75 and 80 with a small fan for ventilation. Around 40% humidity. Any suggestions?

When my plants do that out in the greenhouse, it is usually the north side of the plant, which gets less light, so ya, I'm guessing that part of the plant may not be getting as much light.
Pictures will help a lot to. :)
 
Thank you. That's kind of what I thought. I actually have to 450 viperspectors over this plant but there footprint is weaker in the center where the plant actually is. I might be better off just putting one directly above her. Because it's in the center that the buds are so spaced out and around the edge where the two lights would reach they're nice and tight. This certainly does take learning!

Hey G.P. I'm thinking your Kind Soil is designed for photo as well as auto plants. Although I have no idea how long it's good for, or if it's plant size or age. Maybe one of the Kind Soil users out there should ask em & find out.
 
Hey Primo. Yes I know it is designed for both, but there was a time schedule. I've been in touch weeks back with the makers of kind soil and the instructions on the bag. The problem with the plant I am talking about, is that way back almost 4 months ago I bought that seed with four other seeds that were supposed to be Autos. It turned out to be a photo so it's been in kind soil Way Beyond the length of time that it can feed proper nutrients 4 fotos veg to flower.
 
Ya know, that's what I've read, when following grows about Kind soil, should have enough for Photo's.
I'd be tempted myself, to add a little something at the end, though. Earth Worm castings, Molasses, and some Bat Guano might be a good little boost at the start of flowering, the molasses you can keep using the whole time. I know they say it has the juice ta last to the very end, but, but just a little more good stuff seems reasonable to me.....

As I don't know jack about it I should just keep quiet. A while back I got a couple of bags, I wasn't impressed with the results. So I did a side by side white widow grow using kind soil in one and my go to soil using F.F. neuts at 50% in the other. My preferred soil kicked its ass.
 
I'm definitely going to take that to heart Primo. I don't use Fox Farm,. Because of the issues I've heard with bugs, and other stuff. But in a previous grow and only one years ago, I was using Pro mix BX and biotechnical newts. This time I would use Pro mix BX and megacrop. For my photos. There's a lot of good stuff about kind of soil but I think it might be better for Autos then photos. And speaking of White Widow, I'm planning on purchasing some seeds from 420 new guy of white widows fairly soon. But currently I have too many plants going and need to wait for a while. I've got week old seedlings to four month old in flower plants and two rooms upstairs. But thank you for that info.
 
Greenhouse effect, I hear you. I'm not in any way and experienced grower and I'm struggling and discouraged constantly. But I do use molasses at every watering now, even though the kind soil instructions say not to use anything at all. And I also have been using recharge, which is a lot like Inocucor, adding a lot of beneficial microbes and all that stuff to the soil. My last Harvest with auto doing just kind soil I only got 1 oz off one plant. I am embarrassed. More and more I'm feeling like I want to grow photos and regular soil using Mega crop and molasses and recharge. Well actually I probably wouldn't need to recharge if I'm using megacrop but you know what I mean.
 
Red lights can cause stretching like that. I veg and flower for the first 2 weeks under blue MH to control the stretch and get those nodes closer together. Does your LED have the blue light/red light/mixed light switch option? Or does it have only 1 color option (on/off with no switching decices)?
 
There viparspectra, and there is veg Bloom two different switches. It says to use both when flowering. Many people use both all the way through start to finish. So there is red blue and a little yellow in there. I've used these lights on to other grows and didn't get this stretching all those were Auto.
 
I shoot for 2" for internodal space- some reasons for stretching are:
genetics, low light intensity, warm color, overcrowding, high heat, innapropriate nutes, transplant shock and differential temps lights on/off.
 
If in doubt, feed your plants based on how they are doing.
If they are growing good and seem happy, with no nutrient deficiency's developing, then you don't really need to give them anything else. If they start to look hungry, then feed them! I feel like going by what the plant is telling you, is way better than what the soil or Nute company's say, anyhow. Kind of like looking at triches instead of going by weeks of flowering. Might be hard at first, but it will make you a better grower.

Don't be ambarrassed or feel bad, we are ALL still learning hear, just some are further along on that jurney than others, and everyone has made plenty of mistakes before. I know I've had my share of full on disasters! But I've grown some really awesome weed to, now. Just keep growing and learning, and you'll keep getting better at it!
 
G.P. I don't use fox farm soil, I use one that I feel is much better. I do use their nutrient trio to finish the veg. stage and through flower.
 
well if they're stretching because not enough light and then I move the lights down closer to the plants, they'll get lightburn....?
 
Disagreed. Before there was HPS grow lights people only grew with MH lamps. All blue through out the entire grow cycle. The buds were great, no weird growth...only reason people switched to HPS is because the yields got larger when they did.
