Space Bucket Grow - Plant looks off and has slow growth

The light is about 18 inches away I think, I do have a spacer I can put in which might get it to 22 inches.

So I have devised a cooling system to battle my heat stressed plant. I was hoping to have it implemented and get the plant as healthy a possible before I flipped it but I fear she is getting to big to wait that long. I wont have the parts till next week and I'm thinking it would take another week for her to get nice and healthy. Am I over thinking this? I'm just not sure how much she is going to stretch for flower and I don't know how important it is for me to get her healthy before I flip.

Looking ALOT better then last time. She's getting better and it depends on the strain and how much it stretches in flower. My guess is you will have a minimal stretch with warmer night temps. I would get her in full recovery before I initiated flower. Try tying her down some. I like supercropping to bend them the way I want makes it easy to manipulate stretch as well. Good luck 👌.

Thanks, I moved the light a little further away and tried getting my water temp lower before watering to keep the roots happier as well as starting back up on nutrients. I thinned her out a little the other day and I have been LST, I need to tie down that tall part in the next couple days. She is a Buddha Haze strain which is 90% sativa so I'm thinking she will get tall. I guess it's not that big of a deal since I can just make more spacers. So I will wait till I make my cooling system, get the temps down and she starts looking really good before I flip then.

Yeah with temps above 70 at night my tall strain didn't stretch too much. I had plenty of room for her to stretch but the heat kept her squatty 😉.

Week into flower, she is growing fast now!! So bushy and thick I think have to slowly trim out leaves so light can get down into the branches. I'm going to need more spacers for the ol' space bucket and I'm seriously thinking about getting a light strip for one of them.

Awesome glad it's going good now. Looks healthy.. I personally would take some more off the bottom where light isn't getting to. But it looks great!!

I haven't trimmed anything from the top, it is stretching I guess? But yeah I just didnt want to take to much at once because its in flower and I don't want to stunt it so just a little here and there everyday I think.

Yeah they typically stop stretching around 3-4 weeks in. Sounds good.
