something wierd

I just had 4 seeds sprout 3 came up normally but one sprouted with only a quarter of the codoledon leave that's all. Anyone ever experienced that?

Yes, sometimes a seed has a hard time getting out of the shell or was damaged in shipping, handling etc. Just let it grow if you can afford to lose one a little later often the regular leaves are ok. If you really need to occupy the space in your grow and your girls all need to be on the same schedule. I would start another seed?

Sometimes they'll catch up to the others and sometimes they won't, I'd wait and see. But it definitely happens sometimes where seedlings just grow in funny! Here's one that grew a single cotyledon and no starting growth for "regular" leaves. It just stayed like this for a few weeks without any apparent growth, then somehow started growing regular leaves out of the middle of a cotyledon, and then started growing normally after that. But it was always a few weeks behind its siblings.



I think it's sort of a case by case thing when seedlings display unusual growth patterns!

Id give it a week or so. If it still hasnt done much id scrap it. If ur not worried about uniformity and have the extra space then by all means kick her to the side and let her show u what she can do
