Something ain't right

This grow doesn't seem to be as robust and healthy as other grows. She is 23 days old and I added first nutrients 3 days ago. Is leaf tip turned down called "clawing"? Another tip is wilted and brown spots continue to spread. Any ideas???

Yeah, flushed yesterday with around 6.2, runoff getting better, around 6.6 or 6.7... So it just looks like bad PH to you? Shouldn't it get easier after a couple of grows???!!! 😂

Leaves are dark green and some tips are turning down. Gave 1/2 strength FF nutrients 3 days ago (first time). Wondered if it was nitrogen toxicity.

Yes, I think it may a little bit too much nutrients because of those leaf tips going down like that. I might consider holding off on the nutrients just for another week or two if you're in soil and see if the clawing goes away. (In coco you should not stop giving nutrients for that long) In either case it will grow out of it as it gets bigger and is using more nutrients. The spots on the leaves could definitely be caused from pH. It also looks just a touch overwatered.

Sometimes individual plants just aren't as vibrant as others, and it may have nothing to do with you! There have definitely been times in my garden when just one plant is struggling while all the other plants in the same setup are thriving :)

Luckily, these all look like small issues and it sounds like you're already doing the things you need to do. Honestly your plant actually looks really good!

One last question, what type of grow light are you using? I almost wonder if this plant needs more light. They tend to get the claw more often when the leaves aren't working hard :)

Thanks! I was looking at journal of first grow (best one to date) and I started nutrients on week three that time but I agree I should hold off on next round for now. I am growing in FFOF with a small handful of worm casings in hole when transplanted. Growing with cfl's 3 to 4 inches from top, currently 4-42w cfl in a reflector. Green 75 has convinced me to get a 315 LEC, gonna make purchase after this grow, but now Gordo is bragging about his COB set up! 🤔
