. bought some perlite for my next ladies to goninto big pots. Shall I mix it with coco coir or soil??

Less maintenance with soil u don’t water as often but in core thay grow faster some mix bouth and treat as soil witch ever u chose perlite is always a good thing to add my2c

I think that's your choice, not ours. If it was me, I'd ask what are the benefits are of each and then base my decision off of that. Plenty of helpful people on here to help you make an informed decision...good luck

I veg my plants in coco-perlite 70/30% (1 gallon) and then transplant into soil-perlite 75/25% (3-5 gallons) for flower.
Any combination will work!

I'd say if your wanting them done quicker and maybe higher THC, lower risk of pests, go with coco. If you aren't in any rush, want lower maintenance, and possibly better flavor, mix with some quality organic soil with plenty of beneficial microbes, earthworms, and the like.

Soil grower myself, mostly cause it's just what I like. I enjoy building my little symbiotic community of organisims and trying to keep them all in balance. Some people love coco and do great with that to! Grow with what makes you smile!

Ya know, that sounds like a really good strategy, get them going quick in the coco, but still get the benefits of soil for your buds. Makes my wheels turn a little, been kinda interested in trying coco someday, but I already have raised beds of super soil that I grow in. Maybe I'll try the CD-1 clones I'm planning on, that way....

I took someone's advice on here...forgot who suggested it so I apologise that I can't give them credit.... But, I have been using 1\3 soil 1\3 Coco and 1\3 perlite and the auto and photo I have growing in that love it! I'm beginning to believe the air to the root theory is true. Also being so airy it with me at least helps with the over watering. I can tell when my buddies need water when I lift the pots...

You do realize that growing in coco is completely different from growing in soil, right? That the coco contributes no nutrients so it's very much like hydroponics? I love growing in 70% coco 30% perlite, but it does mean watering every day for the duration of the grow. http://rowweedeasy.com/coco-coir
