Soil growers question - can I add soil and bury more of the stem @ 4 weeks?

Hi folks,

I am four weeks in and have built the based for the manifold over this pas weekend. There is room for a lot more soil in the pots.

My question is can I add soil and bury a fair amount of the exposed stem at this point? Will they take advantage and root into the new soil? Am I risking rot in the stem that I am burying?

In the pic there is actually another inch of the pot folded over, so I can add 3-4 in of soil and would be covering 2/3 of that visible stem, but only if they can use it and it is worth it?

I have done it without issue of stem rot. Billy you can do this cause you water correctly. Also it's so new to that soil pot it's still safe to lift it out replant deeper. I just don't like seeing it all mounded up wet around the stalk.
