Newbie here. I purchased the Vivosun smart grow tent kit, General Hydroponic 3part nutrient system, Rapid Rooter starter plugs, 6kg coco bail, pH kit, a bag of top soil and
ZkittleZ seeds. I’ll be setting up in my basement and hopefully will have some gummies ready in time to celebrate my 70th birthday this winter!❄️
II smoked a lot in the 70’s and 80’s but discretionary income went elsewhere after I acquired a house/wife/kid.
Anyway, I look forward to browsing this forum and glomming into the knowledge of the community.✌️

If'n you wanna make real friends, life-long friends, friends you tell your grandkids to tell their grandkids about, we like our weed porn. Weed porn is the gateway to bud porn.
How do you plan on working coco with top-soil? If you plan on using Rapid Rooters, pay attention to putting your seed in pointy side down. Before you get things going, how's the humidity in your basement? Lots of folks around here have humidity issues in basements.
Welcome.

Keep your growing medium simple. I wouldn't mix soil and coco for a first indoor grow. Some do grow that way, most don't.

One of the GH nutes is for vegging, yeah? Depending on the soil you are using, you might not need veg nutes. You need veg nutes with straight coco(perlite).
