HELP! So Many Concerns :(

Good morning/evening I am in need of help and wisdom,

I am using Kind Soil and a Tasty Light with temps usually at 24 C. They are about a month old give or take a couple of days. I am growing Gorilla Zkittles, Dutch Passion and Blue Dream. So far the Blue dreams have been the most problematic or should I say the most sensitive.

The little one curling bad is a Blue Dream, I don't know what I am doing wrong in relation to that one as the others (except for a very tall Dutch Passion) are fine.

The second photo is a close up of the Blue Dream, these brown spots have just started appearing and I suspect calcium so I am trying to watch my PH better.

The First photo is the most distressing, It is of the healthiest and bushiest plant of the bunch the Gorilla Zkittlez. It has shown to be very hardy and easy up until this sudden yellowing of the tip of the bottom fan leaves. I have no idea what it could be and this plant is my favorite so far so I must find out how to rectify this.

Please help me. I really want this to be a very hefty grow.

Your plants look like they are ready to be transplanted. They curling down of the leaves looks like you may be over watering. Have you fed them any nutrients yet?
 
Your plants look like they could use a transplant. The roots are likely reached the nutrient capacity of the soil of those small cups! Was this intentional? Are you feeding them?
 
To reiterate what all the nice folk have said, your ladies need new pants! 🤘😎. I'll pull up a chair, Gorilla Zkittlez might be my next grow.
 
Well we are told to start them off in cups before placing them in a large container. Kind Soil is supposed to have all the nutrients necessary to sustain them. My last grow was with Kind Soil and they grew very well. Though the plants are only a month old the roots couldn't have grown that fast?
 
So the Dutch Passion seeds a bought didn't mention auto but you never know sometimes with human error. Any way these guys were planted June 25th, I had some PH problems with the Blue Dreams which I have been able to reverse somewhat, though it is quite a small plant so I would be shocked if it was root bound. The biggest plant is smaller than the ones in my last grow when I transplanted them and they had only filled a quarter of the cup. Is it possible for roots to grow so rapidly in a month?
 
Well the soil I am using say to add no extra nutrients. I grew my last grow with this soil and they showed no problems throughout the whole process. I can try and let them dry out a bit maybe. Do the roots have to be completely filling a cup in order to show root problems or can transplantation be needed even if only a quarter of the cup space is full?
 
Once the leaves are about the reach the edge of your growing pot, it is time to change the container. A dixie cup of soil has enough nutrients to sustain a plant the same size as the dixie cup. If you want the plant to surpass that size, you need more soil and space for the plant or at least more nutrients.

FWIW going forward...I've got some Humboldt Blue dream in DWC right now...the one I have is a really light feeder, and really slows down if the pH drifts too low. You can expect different strains to react differently to feeding/soil conditions.

Having said that...shedding lower leaves is more common in some strains than others and it's not necessarily something you can "correct" with feeding. They'll just take the groceries (nutes) from the cupboard (lower leaves) rather than go to the cellar (root ball and media) at times. I never worry about a couple of brown leaves on the bottom of my plants if the tops and mid level leaves are powering along. IMO there was no problem with that first plant, it was doing great.

The one with the downward leaf curl was probably drowning....every plant container should have drainage holes.

How full were the cups when you did your transplant? Root bound or loose soil on the outside?

I hope they're happy in their new buckets! Have fun and don't let 'em stress you!!!
 
Thanks for your response Happy Daze, When I transplanted them they had grown out to the walls of the cups but the roots did not dig down very deep. So there was only loose soil on the bottom half of the cups. They really shot up in the last 4 days but one of the plants don't seem to be growing any bigger now. I have opted to take the bottom yellow leaf off of the biggest Zkittles and it still seems quite happy. I will be sure to post a photo soon. I may not have had enough drainage holes for the plant you speak of but it was a very small plant anyway. The Blue Dream seems to be a lighter green than the others which I am not sure is normal or not though.
 
The bottom left with the bluish splotch is Blue Dream and the top right plant with the purple splotch is Dutch Passion, the rest are Zkittles. The Plant in the exact middle does not seem to be growing. The others have shot up a lot including the difficult Blue Dream. Though the Zkittles in the dixie cup next to the middle one has grown instead and hasn't shown signs of root bound. Should I switch the two or have faith for the small one?

Question though, Which is a better light to veg further with. At the moment they are under a 150 watt Tasty LED light but I do have a 200 watt and 400 watt HPS light on stand by. Should I stick with the LED till I go to flower or would a 200watt HPS be better?
 
Doesn’t HPS generally have more penetrating power? Might matter, might not. Depends on training and defoliation.
