No problem with harvesting what's ready, then letting the rest mature. Have done that often, and I feel the plants actually enjoy being able to give every last bud, at the right moment! ðŸ¸
If you're talking about the hairs on the bud being amber,that is not always a sign they are ready you need a good magnifier to look at the trichromes on the bud itself . Patience is tough but it pays.
